Lace + Lilies Floral Collaboration

As an artist, I love collaborating with other creatives who are doing great things in their particular industry. It helps keep me sharp, and it helps with the fun factor of my work. My girls at Lace and Lilies have been killing it the last 5 years in the floral world. Their work is impeccable and always pleasantly unexpected. We thought it would be a fun collaboration if they did a flower arrangement and I painted to complement the color palette. Combine the two into a photo, and hello, what a fun project! I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Keep your eyes open for more of these!

Mood Board | Last Weekend II

Anyone else loving navy these days? Navy anything... interiors, furniture, fashion, you name it. I seem to love it. In the 'Last Weekend' paintings I wanted navy to be center stage combined with small pops of color and fun nuances with paint splatters and organic lines. I can envision this painting in so many environments... above a mantel, in a nursery, in an entryway, the list goes on.

Nonetheless, you can expect to see more navy coming from my paintings this season. To shop this original painting, click here. Or if you're interested, I just made the Last Weekend paintings available as prints

Mood Board | Charleston Rain

Environments are everything to me. So much so that the spaces I find myself in can honestly make or break my mood at times. Anyone know the feeling?! Maybe that's why they call it a mood board, ha.
Because of this, a lot of my work is inspired by interior and exterior spaces I find myself in or dreaming of being in. So I decided this blog will be a place to explore a deeper and fun way to see my work in a different light and also give inspiration into color palettes, interior design, fashion, and everything that is aesthetically pleasing.
I love the simplicity and clean lines of this room mixed with the Charleston Rain painting displayed in a natural maple frame. What do you think of this combo? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
